New machine for polishing / grinding stainless steel coils
This new and modern machine started working as from July 1st 2009.
Its main features are the stainless steel coils surface treatments, such as different types of grinding with vinyl protection and paper inter leafing. Afterwards, these coils can be cut into sheets and/or springs in their different widths and lengths according to specific requirements from each customer.
It is important to point out that with this equipment GRINDED stainless steel coils can be supplied for the direct construction of tanks, which in turn may be destined to different industries with the consequent and important savings in polishing expenses, a perfect surface trimming and a better use of the coils.
This product is mainly destined to the food industry, wine production tanks, gastronomy in general, elevators and escalators construction, etc.
New machines installation
During April 2009 we started the final set up of a Coil Grinding machine and a new Coil Slitter with an estimated start up date by the end of July 2009.
This important investment of approximately USD 4,000,000 is being carried out in our plant of Garín, Buenos Aires Province after a thorough market research and customer need analysis. These new machines will contribute to improve our quality and productivity, which in turn will be of benefit to our clients.
We will go back on all their features and descriptions once they are completely installed and working.
It is worth mentioning that these machines can also be used for polishing aluminium, cooper and tin coils.
Aluminium treated Steel
Since the beginning of 2007 we started the commercialization and process of aluminium treated sheets “FAL”, whose objective is to satisfy the market of superficial protection sheets for high temperature demand, such as car exhaust pipes and thermal shields, industrial furnaces, gas burners, household appliances production and stamped or inlay parts superficially protected against corrosion.
The alulminium treated sheets may be supplied as sheets or springs and blanks according to customers’ specifications.
The commercialized degrees match Rules DIN DX 54 D and DX 56 D corresponding to deep inlay and extra-deep inlay respectively.
Nothing is done without steel. At ThyssenKrupp Fortinox we evolve day by day to satisfy the market demands professionally.
