Plastic Mold steels
THYROPLAST®
In order to manufacture plastic parts, it becomes necessary to use steels of high wear resistance, good polishability and apt for texturizing, together with good machinability and corrosion resistance. These properties are achieved by pre-treated steels, steels for thermal treatment, corrosion resistant steels, nitriding steels and Maraging-type steels.
