Austenitic Steels
Chromium-Nickel austenitic stainless steels present 0,03% to 0,25% Carbon content, while Chromium content is registered within the range of 17% to 26%, together with Nickel between 7% and 22%. Mechanical characteristics are very good. They also present high resilience, and an extremely low cracking temperature point (up to -200ºC), which renders them apt for cryogenic processes.
